We are delighted to join the change makers gathered in Abu Dhabi for the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) World Conservation Congress 2025!

We are deeply honoured to be the voice of youth and to represent the Young Ambassadors for the Environment (YAE): Manon Bourhis, Jana Harb and Lucie Serizier.

We co-facilitated the workshop ‘The 2040 Challenge: Designing the Next 15 Years of Resilient Conservation’, a collaborative workshop aimed at generating ideas around inspiring initiatives, questioning their strengths, areas for improvement and potential for replication in other territories.

Thank you to our participants, whose diverse backgrounds and perspectives made for rich and stimulating intercontinental exchanges!

Manon Bourhis, Jana Harb and Lucie Serizier had the pleasure of co-designing and moderating these workshops with inspiring young activists: Jennifer Makambo, Cameron C. and Patricia Oyediran, from the Quebec youth delegation.

A big thank you to the IUCN and the Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse (OFQJ) for their unwavering commitment to making room for young people in the spaces where the future of nature is decided.
