Young Ambassadors for the Environment at the Europe-Africa Summit “Adaptation: Taking Action” in Marseille (France)

On March 31 and April 1 , the Young Ambassadors for the Environment (JAE) will be present at the Europe-Africa Summit "Adaptation: Taking Action", which will be held at the Palais du Pharo in Marseille . Co-organized by the city of Marseille, at the heart of climate issues in the Mediterranean basin and at the crossroads of Europe and Africa, this event will bring together key environmental and climate stakeholders to deepen European strategies for adaptation to climate change, share solutions and strengthen international cooperation.

Thanks to the support of the Franco-Quebec Youth Office (OFQJ) , the JAE will have the opportunity to participate in the summit by joining a delegation of 30 committed young French speakers. Their objective: to develop a joint plea on adaptation to climate change . This initiative, led by the OFQJ, is fully in line with the missions of the JAE: to give a voice to young people at major international summits, to involve young professionals committed to developing concrete recommendations and to promote the international exchange of knowledge and solutions.

The Young Ambassadors for the Environment association is committed to promoting innovative approaches to strengthen the resilience of territories , particularly through nature-based solutions.

It also works to integrate ecosystems into climate strategies and territorial planning in order to increase adaptation capacities.
