From Forum to Members' Assembly - IUCN Congress - Abu Dhabi 2025

After four intense and inspiring days of Forum discussions at the IUCN World Conservation Congress, we are now entering the crucial phase of the Members' Assembly. This is where decisions for the future of biodiversity will be made!

The Forum was a wonderful opportunity for collaboration. We had particularly fruitful exchanges with the delegation from the Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse (OFQJ), the IUCN Commission on Education and Communication (CEC), and young people from the French Lycée in Abu Dhabi.

We are extremely proud to be one of only five youth organisations that are members of the IUCN. It is an honour to sit alongside governments and NGOs from around the world, and a huge responsibility to represent the voice of young people in this decisive forum.

Now it's time for motions, votes and big debates. We are more motivated than ever to advance the cause of nature!
